Experienced school leader to join our team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Bamford as Deputy Head (Academic), joining Perrott Hill School in September 2026 from The Perrott Hill British School in Prague.

Mr Bamford brings over 20 years of experience in education, including nine years as a Headteacher. Much of his career has been spent in British international schools overseas, including in Dubai, the USA, Romania and Prague.

With expertise in school improvement, Mr Bamford is a regular speaker at international teacher CPD events and also serves as a British Schools Overseas and IAPS inspector. He also holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship.

Outside school, Mr Bamford has a passion for beagles, with two of his own, and is an avid supporter of Aston Villa Football Club. He also coaches and referees American football, a sport he has played and coached both professionally and internationally.
