Prep School

At this stage, we take great care to encourage and stretch children based on their individual needs and strengths. Our small class sizes mean every child is know, which allows us to combine extremely high standards of academic rigour with outstanding pastoral care.

The curriculum is broad-based and carefully balanced to ensure depth of study, while introducing pupils to wide range of experiences, knowledge, skills and understanding. The curriculum is differentiated to meet the needs of all pupils, including the more able and those with specific learning requirements.

In addition to academic progress, pupils are given the individual attention they need to ensure they flourish, whether it be in the classroom, on the sports  field, in the music school, in the art department or during the vast array of activities on offer.

We have a Transition Programme for those in Year 8 which sees them taking positions of responsibility and prepares them for the next stage in their Perrott Hill journey: Seniors.

We also invest time in teaching manners and the common courtesies which are so often overlooked in the rush of modern-day life.
