Trips & Excursions

Experiences outside the normal school curriculum play an enormous part in enriching children’s learning and offer them the opportunity to develop further as individuals. We seek to make the most of our local environment and trips to places such as The Roman Baths, Carmarthanshire, Maiden Castle and Lulworth Cove take place on an annual basis.

Sports tours offer the opportunity to augment the regular fixture lists whilst also giving the pupils an insight into the different cultures and routines of other schools; the players benefit from being away from home and school and spending time with each other.

The French trip takes place each summer when Year 7 experience a week of French culture, language and activities.

The Year 8 Leavers’ Trip to Cornwall takes place once Common Entrance and Scholarship Examinations have been completed: visits to the Eden Project, Minack Theatre and Tate Gallery; participating in adventure activities, team challenges, camping, cooking; and simply spending time in each other’s company, provide a fitting end to the children’s time at Perrott Hill.
