ICT

All pupils from Years 1 to 8 have specialist ICT sessions each week in our purpose-built suite, which contains eighteen networked computers all linked to the teacher’s computer for monitoring and support.  Lessons are designed to teach pupils the skills they need in school and the wider world, with dedicated sessions on internet safety.

ICT is widely used to complement and develop the wider curriculum. Pupils have access to a wide range of computer equipment including printers, scanners and digital cameras: a set of netbooks stored in the library allows for research to take place and provides another venue for classes to have ICT access.

ICT lectures (including e-safety) are provided for both parents and children.
