Guidelines for Parents
Registration
All children should arrive at school for registration by 08:20. If you need to drop off your child earlier, or later, on any occasion, this should be arranged with the school.
Pick-up times
Nursery – 13:30 or 16:00
Reception, Years 1 and 2 – 16:00
Years 3 to 4 – 17:15 (optional) or 17:45
Years 5 to 8 – 17:45
Wednesdays – optional 16:00 pick-up, provided your child does not have any school commitments such as a match. Children may be taken straight home after an away match, upon discussion with the team’s coach.
Saturdays – 16:00 (or when match has finished)
Exeats and Half-terms
Boarders may return on either the Sunday evening at 7.30pm, or the following Monday morning.
Activities
Activities, both paid and in-house, take place on: Wednesdays between 16:30 and 17:45; Thursdays between 14:15 and 15:45; morning break times; weekday evenings after tea. Please note that one term’s notice is required before discontinuing any paid activity.

E-readers
Please download and return the form if you would like your child to have an e-reader in school.
Off Games
If you know your child is not fit to play games before their arrival at school, please send in a note to that effect, preferably in your child’s Contact Book. If your child becomes ill or is injured at school, we will inform you by telephone.
School Policies
The policies are available on the website or via the school office.
Uniform
Children should arrive at school with clean, clearly-named uniform in good repair. A full uniform list is available from the office and if in doubt, please contact Bethan Butcher, the Headmaster’s wife.
