Perrott Hill welcomes pupils from many countries in Europe and has an English as a Additional Language department to support them; the children stay for a term, a year or much longer.
The boys and girls normally arrive in Years 5 to 8 and this has been very successful, with brothers and sisters often following their elder siblings.
The children study with their form but do not study Latin (and many do not take French). During this time they receive extra support, either individually or in small groups, for their English, with a specialist teacher.
Some of the pupils prepare for the Cambridge KET, PET and FCE exams and, so far, there has been a 100% success rate.
