Bea wins Sherborne Douzelage Young Musician of the Year 2026! 

We were thrilled to hear that Bea won the Junior Brass Section of the Sherborne Douzelage Young Musician of the Year 2026!

Held at the Gransden Hall at Sherborne Girls and competing with entrants from Sherborne’s Douzelage twin towns across Europe, the competition culminates with the winners performing in a concert at the Sherborne Abbey Music Festival on Thursday 7 May. What an incredible opportunity ahead!

Bea’s musicianship is soaring; she has just returned from her first weekend away with the National Children’s Orchestra – and this latest success is such a wonderful reflection of her dedication and talent.

We couldn’t be prouder of Bea and all she has achieved so far.
