“Occasionally, very special moments come along that leave an indelible impression for all the right reasons” Headmaster Mr McCullough said of this week’s visitor.
On Tuesday, we were privileged to welcome friend of the school Bruce Parry – the acclaimed broadcaster, adventurer and explorer whose documentaries have taken him to some of the most remote communities on earth.
Bruce spoke to Year 2 about his travels in the Arctic, a topic they have been covering in some detail. He then spoke to pupils in Year 3 to 8, sharing his unique insight into indigenous cultures.
His powerful messages about living respectfully alongside nature, and genuinely celebrating our differences resonated deeply.
Thank you Brace for a genuinely inspiring visit.
