CE & Scholarships
Common Entrance
Perrott Hill prepares pupils to sit Common Entrance (CE) examinations in Year 8. These examinations take place during the summer term with the papers being marked by the candidate’s chosen senior school.
English, Mathematics and Science are compulsory core subjects and pupils also sit papers in French, Latin, Geography, History and Religious Studies.
Scholarships
We take great care to ensure that all pupils are well prepared for scholarships and awards. All staff provide individual support for pupils based on the requirements of their senior school; scholars’ clubs for sport, art and drama provide additional assistance for those attempting such awards. Interview practice is provided by the Headmaster and an external specialist provides sessions focussed upon specific interview techniques.
