Experiences outside the normal school curriculum play an enormous part in enriching children's learning and offer them the opportunity to develop further as individuals.
We seek to make the most of our local environment and trips to Bath, Exmoor and other local attractions are commonplace. The school is lucky enough to be close to the Jurassic Coast, a world heritage sight, and is able to make the most of many places of historical interest nearby.
Outward bound weekends and days are often organised for a particular year group. The boys and girls have the opportunity to experience some activities for the first time and it is good to see the children's confidence grow.
Sports tours offer the opportunity to augment the regular fixture lists whilst also giving the pupils an insight into the difference cultures and routines at other schools. The teams benefit from being away from home and school and spending time with each other.
